Public Voices Welcome for the New South Grafton Park
Do you prefer the Mill Village Green, the Fisherville Park, or the Fisherville Emerald? The Fisherville Farnumsville Streetscape Committee is searching for the right name for the new South Grafton Park, the first stage of the South Grafton streetscape program. The Committee welcomes your suggestions for the park, which will honor the natural beauty of the Blackstone River, preserve historical features of the area including the mill canal, and connect the Fisherville Mill Redevelopment Project with surrounding South Grafton.
Entries are due no later than Friday, July 2nd at the Planning Department in the Grafton Memorial Municipal Center or via email to planningdept@grafton-ma.gov. A final name for the park will be announced at the ground breaking ceremony.

To change the committee status from “ad hoc” to a standing committee, the Fisherville & Farnumsville Streetscape Committee with the following charge:
“The Fisherville & Farnumsville Streetscape Committee shall assist the Town of Grafton in the implementation of the approved streetscape program.”
To appoint nine (9) voting members to the Committe including six (6) voting members of the current ad hoc committee, two (2) non-voting exofficio members of the current ad hoc committee.
