BRUSH DISPOSAL AREA
Location: Off Millbury Street
The Department of Public Works has announced that the brush disposal area located off Millbury Street will be open to accept brush, leaves, and other yard waste on dates noted below.
- June 12
- June 19
- June 26
- July 10
- July 17
- July 24
- July 31
Additionally:
Effective Thursday, May 13 and until further notice, the brush disposal area will be open on Thursday and Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Brush stickers will still be required and all rules and regulations will apply.
BRUSH DISPOSAL STICKER REQUIRED
Effective April 1, 2009, stickers will be required to access the brush disposal area on Millbury Street. The stickers are available for sale at:

Hours: Monday – Friday
8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Stickers cost Twenty Five Dollars ($25.00) and run through the fiscal year July 1- June 30. The Yellow Sticker is valid through June 30, 2010.
Fiscal Year 2011 stickers (white) are now availalbe for sale in the Selectmen's Office. Note: for a limited time stickers will be sold at the brush disposal area.
HOURS / RULES OF OPERATION
- Brush Disposal stickers required.
- Hours of operation: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- The Brush Disposal Area will be closed in the event of inclement weather (snow).
- Please Note: HOURS OF OPERATION and DATES are subject to change.
RULES GOVERNING THE BRUSH DISPOSAL AREA ARE:
- No butt logs or stumps accepted.
- No lumber or other building products or debris accepted.
- No dirt, concrete or other solid wastes accepted.
- Accepted items will be brush that is 10" or less in diameter, clean unbagged leaves, grass clippings, hedge clippings and other clean yard wastes.
- Facilities are for the use of GRAFTON RESIDENTS AND/OR FOR MATERIAL ORIGINATING FROM GRAFTON ONLY.
- Commerical Landscapers are NOT PERMITTED to use the Brush Disposal Area.
DPW GRASS CLIPPINGS (seasonal)
Grass clippings can be dropped off at the DPW Garage Tuesday through Friday 7:15 - 3:15 pm and Saturday Mornings 7:00 - 1:00 p.m.
