New Resident Information

Welcome to Grafton! As a new resident, this page is designed to help provide you with the information needed to set up your new home. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to the Grafton Municipal Center at 508-839-5335.

Trash & Recycling

Grafton utilizes a Pay As You Throw (PAYT) Program for trash hauling. You can purchase official PAYT bags at local retailers in two sizes, 15-gallon bags (small, $5 per roll) and 33-gallon bags (large, $9 per roll). All trash needs to be in an official green Grafton PAYT bag and all recycling needs to be in an EL Harvey Toter. All trash and recycling must be on the curbside by 7 am on your scheduled day (PDF). Bulky items (i.e. mattresses, televisions, etc.) can be arranged by contacting EL Harvey at 800-321-3002.

See more information on the Town's recycling center, textile recycling, brush disposal, and hazardous waste.

Electricity

Grafton receives electricity from National Grid. You can set up or transfer this utility online.

Residents also have the option of signing on to the Grafton Energy Choice Program. This program offers a consumer-friendly alternative to National Grid's Basic Service: you can find more information on the energy aggregate program online.
