Mission Statement:

The Grafton Sewer Department operations are overseen by the Board of Sewer Commissioners and through the department's personnel; the Sewer Department is responsible for billing for sewer use fees, payment of bond issues, review of construction plans for future use and the operation and maintenance of the wastewater treatment facility.

The Sewer Department operates on an enterprise type budget; the department generates its own revenue source through sewer use and betterment fees. The revenue is used for expenditures to operate the entire department, including Grafton's 2.4 million gallon per day activated sludge Wastewater Treatment Facility located at 9 Depot Street, South Grafton.
